Gorgorath is now hosting a server. The Classic Akarra server has a new website. Whispers and rumours on the forum about Dawn of Daria being in “lazy development”.

We’ve had a lot of spam bots targeting the forum, so new users now need to be approved before gaining access. I go through the new accounts every few days. If you want to be absolutely sure your account is approved and not mistaken for spam, drop me a note with your username. Many thanks to Mr. Clean who has been helping me to keep the forum spam free!

The Classic Akarra website was hacked recently, and they have a new website in progress. Kingmarr reports that the server is still running, but some players have had trouble accessing it.
About Whispers in Akarra
Whispers in Akarra is an old school 2D MMORPG in the medieval fantasy genre, with a small but fiercely loyal community. It focuses on team-driven game play, rather than flashy graphics. The game is staged in a fictional land known as Akarra, where wild beasts roam and players survive by might or magic.
Whispers in Akarra was originally created by swedish game developer Jens Bergensten in 2001. The game was shut down on February 14th, 2004. After much request to bring it back, Jens eventually released the source code of the game, and now Akarra lives on in several shards. You can see his current game projects at Oxeye Games.
This site is currently being maintained by an old player who went by the name of Luna; level 48 Idler, and proficient horse-misplacer.
